League Champions Mapplewell Mavericks Under 8's extended their unbeaten run in a hard fought encounter with Royston Dynamos Under 8's.In the first game both teams battled out a 0 - 0 draw with the Maverick's Man of the Match, Sam Rolph, outstanding in defence.
In the second game the Maverick's came out on top 5 - 0. Man of the Match ,Connor Bond, opened the scoring with a long range shot. His first goal of the season. The tireless Lee Jordan scored a hat trick with Thomas Clare coming off the bench to score his fortieth goal of the season to complete the scoring.
